Student Life in Prague

We visited the student menza that means canteen near Pedagogical Faculty. Food was nice but the system to get it was silly. I guess we are just used to only pay the food when we need some instead of using scissors and little scraps of papers accompanied with money. But when in Czech act like Czech and no problemo. Then again very few here speak English and no-one Finnish so I try to speak to them Russia and Swedish, which sometimes is not the best idea but that is their problem. Just don't speak any English. It will scare them away because only tourists speak English!? Its best to try nonverbal communication or gibberish.

In a way Czech and Finland are very similar countries. Both have been under the rule of greater powers for centuries that have made the people more acquiescent. This is of course only a positive thing. People in here are just nice when you get to know them. For example we met at the menza a very nice man from the east. And if all are like him Ukraine will be in EU long before Turkey.
